Hello, I'm Harper Nichols (they/he)!
I am a multi-disciplinary artist interested in capturing experiences of queer joy, trans resilience, and childhood wonder as key avenues of expression and resistance.
I enjoy a broad creative practice with mediums including linocut and silkscreen printmaking, photography, audio and video production, drawing, painting, and sewing.
I graduated from Middlebury College in February of 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in both Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies and Psychology. I also completed a minor in Studio Art, including a thesis project entitled How to Live: Affirming the Queer Inner Child through Play and Pleasure.
I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio before heading to Vermont. My parents raised me on the Indigo Girls, local sweet corn, and family game nights. I'm a lover of cats, writing, looking at the stars, making art, drinking tea, backpacking, and baking treats for the people I love.
